Volunteer Your Time And Skills
If you’re looking to make an impact in your community, consider volunteering with the Glenwood Springs Historical Society. Volunteers are essential to the success of the society’s events and programs, and volunteers are needed to:
- lead public history tours to small groups
- greet and assist visitors at the Frontier History Museum’s welcome desk
- help complete computer data entry and other tasks related to artifacts, photographs and documents
- pitch in at special events, including actors and other helpers at the Historic Ghost Walk each September-October
- support educational programs for local youth
Scheduling is somewhat flexible, Prior experience isn’t required, just enthusiasm and willingness to support the society’s mission. Call 970-945-4448 to learn more about how you can help share and preserve Glenwood Springs history, or send a message using the contact page. Thank you!
